Residential center for IDPs

The former two‑storey industrial building has been transformed into a modern residential center for displaced people. As part of the KO‑HATY project by the NGO METALAB, supported by UNHCR, our team carried out a full range of construction works — from upgrading the main structures and installing entrance groups to partial roofing, lightning protection systems, and ramps for convenient access.

The premises have been redesigned into fully functional apartments — each with its own bathroom and kitchen area, thoughtfully planned for safe and comfortable long‑term living. This is more than just reconstruction; it is an example of how space can gain new meaning and become a source of support for people starting their lives anew.
